It helps you navigate both on and off the road with GPS navigation and tracking abilities, aided by sensors such as an altimeter, barometer, and compass. Using the altimeter, you are able to keep track of your movement and elevation with great precision. With the barometer, you can quickly evaluate short-term weather changes.

The Foretrex 701, equipped with AB Elite software, is an excellent device for sports shooters and hunting enthusiasts. The Ballistics Elite software on your Foretrex 701 calculates shooting adjustments for long distances.
Always up to date
If your phone is compatible, you can receive messages and alerts directly on the device using Smart Notifications. Use the Garmin Connect Mobile app to begin LiveTrack and allow others to track your journey. The Foretrex 701 also has a variety of internet functions: it automatically uploads data to Garmin Connect, which is our online fitness community, and applies software updates automatically when connected to a mobile device.
