The Aputure Barndoors are the optimal solution to shape your light and prevent loss of light. The Aputure Barndoors have been specially developed for Aputure LS C300d and LS C120d and have four wings, a designed negative reflector dish and a high-quality gel holder.

Velvet fabric
The Aputure Barndoors consist of four panels, each with an inner black velvet fabric to maximise light absorption and virtually eliminate light leakage. Although maximum light control is achieved with the black reflector supplied, the 4 panels can also be mounted on the standard Aputure silver reflector or the Aputure Fresnel.

Gel holder
The Aputure Barndoors are equipped with a magnetic gel holder¹ that allows filmmakers to easily add colour to their lights.

Honeycomb
The included 30 degree honeycomb grid allows filmmakers to further maximise control as needed.

Black reflector dish
The barndoors use a snap-in mounting structure that makes attachment and removal quick and convenient. In addition to special adapter rings, they can also be attached to the front of a standard 7-inch reflector, Fresnel and other compatible accessories.

Aerospace aluminium
The four panels of the barndoors are made of smooth aluminium to ensure a strong, slim construction that is easy to open and close but incredibly durable.

¹ When using colour gels with high-power LED fixtures such as the Aputure C300D, the heat will cause the filter gels to warp or burn after some time. It is recommended to change new colour filter sheets every three hours of continuous use. It is recommended to use ROSCO or LEE for better results.
