Discovery Basics BBC 8x21 binoculars are a Porro model, but they are very compact and lightweight. The binoculars are designed as tourist binoculars, i.e. it is easy to take them with you on hikes, walks, and long trips. It is equally suitable for the detailed study of objects located at a great distance and for viewing the area around you. The binoculars are ideally suited for daylight observation.
The optics are made of BK-7 glass; the 8x magnification; the 21mm objective lens diameter. The field of view is sufficient for observing fast-moving objects or groups of objects, e.g. athletes in a stadium. The central focusing wheel adjusts the sharpness. The eyepieces are equipped with comfortable twist-up eyecups.
No tripod is required, as the quality and stability of the image remain at a high-quality level even when you are holding it with your hands.
