The Hyacinth Macaw is a stunning bird with cobalt blue feathers. Its tail feathers are exceptionally long, and its wingspan can reach up to one metre, making it the largest flying parrot in the world. Watching the macaw in flight is a breathtaking experience.

The Hyacinth Macaw is adept at clinging to tree branches. Using its powerful claws and beak, the parrot can climb up the trunk quickly.   It seems to have found some delicious nuts.The macaw is particularly fond of eating them. Its bright blue plumage is stunning. The skin around the bird's beak and eyes is a bright yellow colour, which contrasts well with its feathers.
