Isn't it a picture? The ibex standing on a rocky outcrop, surveying its territory. Its mighty horns can be seen from afar. Simply majestic! The high mountains are its home. When it skips skilfully over the rocks, no one can follow.

The ibex climbs skilfully up and down the high mountain rocks. Placing its delicate hooves carefully and keeping an eye on the trail, the ibex can move effortlessly through the difficult terrain of the Alps. More confidently than any other mammal here. It can easily climb to heights of 3,500 metres! But when it gets hungry, it usually descends from these lofty heights because the juicy alpine meadows with their tasty herbs are usually lower down.
