Optimized for static pressure
During the development of the new P8 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on directed airflow and thus high static pressure. The fan provides extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. This makes the P8 PWM PST particularly suitable for use on coolers and radiators.
More efficient technology
The motor is driven by the latest generation of PWM IC, which enables the new P8 PWM PST to operate much more efficiently than its predecessors. This saves energy without compromising performance.
Maximum quietness, minimal vibration
Even at low speeds, the sound of the new ARCTIC motor is barely noticeable. Due to sinusoidal magnetization, the new motor generates only about 5% of the vibration caused by the commutation of a conventional DC motor without a filter. As a result, the smooth and even torque of the new motor eliminates the need for rubber spacers.
Extended service life
A 10 °C lower motor temperature approximately doubles the service life of the fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life due to its low coil temperature.
200 to 3000 rpm, regulated by PWM PST
Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the rpm can be regulated over a wide range with PWM. This keeps noise to a minimum while ensuring maximum cooling performance when needed.
High-quality bearing
Thanks to a combination of alloy and lubricant developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result, the bearing generates less heat and noise, which means you can enjoy a longer fan life.
