CP filters, also called circular polarisation filters, are mainly used to eliminate unwanted reflections on non-metallic surfaces and to increase the colour concentration. It also enhances the blue sky, highlights white clouds, improves image clarity and produces an overall more expressive and vivid image. It is also often used to shoot through glass or water.
