The G5 Pro is not just a camera—it extends your smart home to the outdoors. As a Zigbee and Thread hub, it allows you to connect Aqara and other brands of devices, provides Thread support to other smart hubs, and enables the integration of connected Aqara devices into the Matter ecosystem.

Locally hosted 7-in-1 visual and 4-in-1 audio artificial intelligence
The G5 uses artificial intelligence to recognize faces, individual vehicles, people, and animals. It also detects prolonged lingering, lens coverage, and delivered packages. Each detection can be set as a trigger for alerts, recording, or camera response.

Flexible connectivity via Wi-Fi or stable Ethernet connection
The G5 Pro (PoE) uses an Ethernet connection for data transfer and power supply (with USB-C option), ensuring an extremely stable connection. The Wi-Fi version works via USB-C, supports the WPA3 security protocol, and uses dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) for greater flexibility.

Superb color night vision
The G5 has a large, graphene-cooled 1/1.8" sensor, true-color night vision, 4 MP (2.6K) resolution, 133° viewing angle, f/1.0 aperture for more light capture, and a built-in reflector light for security automation.

Reliable privacy protection
The camera supports HomeKit Secure Video, has encrypted built-in eMMC storage, and for the first time also enables end-to-end encryption for footage sent to both Apple and Aqara cloud – a new level of data security.

Works even in extreme cold
The G5 has IP65 water and dust protection and remains fully functional even in extreme temperatures down to -30°C, ensuring year-round home security.

Support for network storage and streaming
RTSP enables local streaming of recordings to video servers such as Frigate and Blue Iris, while SMB NAS support expands local storage options. In addition, the G5 Pro can also stream content to smart displays and TVs with Alexa, Google, and Samsung.

Multiple mounting options
Camera installation is extremely flexible – the swivel mount allows mounting on almost any flat surface, wall or ceiling, for indoor and outdoor use.
