Smart dimmer switch with Matter support and energy consumption monitoring

Thread/Zigbee support:
This dimmer switch supports dual protocols. In Thread mode, it can connect directly to third-party Matter ecosystems without the need for an Aqara hub. In Zigbee mode, it provides access to advanced Aqara features and ensures compatibility with classic Aqara Zigbee hubs. You can switch between the two modes depending on whether you want Matter integration or additional Aqara functionality.

2-in-1 connection option with or without a neutral wire:
The switch is designed for homes with or without a neutral wire, making installation easy. If there is no neutral wire, setup is simple. If a neutral wire is available, the switch offers additional features such as overload protection and electricity consumption monitoring, which increases safety and efficiency.

Multifunctional rotary knob:
The knob functions as a switch and dimmer. Press to turn the light on or off, and turn to smoothly adjust the brightness from 1% to 100%. The default response time is 1.5 seconds, but the user can adjust it as desired.

Wide lamp compatibility:
Compatible with incandescent bulbs, halogen bulbs, and dimmable CFL/LED lights. Supports both leading edge and trailing edge dimming, ensuring stable dimming and compatibility with existing lights and future upgrades. Trailing edge dimming is enabled by default as it is compatible with all supported lights.

Support for 55 mm frames:
The switch fits standard 55 × 55 mm systems and is compatible with popular third-party frames such as Gira System 55 and Merten M. Installation is simple, with no need for an electrician. The design allows for broad European compatibility with minimal adjustments.

Energy consumption monitoring:
The switch records the energy consumption of connected devices and allows you to view the data via the Aqara Home app. Users can monitor daily, weekly, and monthly consumption to optimize energy efficiency and create automated savings plans.

Adjustable brightness limits:
In the Aqara Home app (in Zigbee mode), users can set minimum and maximum brightness levels. This helps prevent flickering or power loss and ensures stable operation even at very low brightness levels.
