The Ermenrich Seek TV50 is suitable for a wide range of applications. When inspecting electrical equipment with a thermal imaging device, hidden faults such as overheated contacts can be detected. When inspecting industrial and residential buildings, the Ermenrich Seek TV50 helps to find thermal bridges in facades and foundations. It can be used in construction work to control the installation of underfloor heating, radiators and water heaters. The thermal imaging device can also be useful for maintenance and repair of cars as well as pest control (to find pest infestation in a building). The temperature measurement range of the Ermenrich Seek TV50 ranges from -20 to +400°C.

The thermal imager is equipped with a 32x32 pix thermal image sensor (1024pix in total) and a 2 Mpix camera for visible light. Four modes are available: infrared mode, infrared edge detection mode, dual-light view mode and visible light mode. You can also choose from 7 colour palettes, the image is displayed on the integrated colour display. The operation and settings are controlled by four buttons below the display and one button on the handle. There is a photo capture function - the photos are stored on a memory card.

The device is held in the hand; there is no tripod mount, and the power source is a rechargeable battery.
