An illuminated metropolis
An urban development plan is underway in Illumina City! The aim of this plan: To make the city a place that Pokémon and humans alike can truly share. Shortly after your arrival, you choose one of these partner Pokémon to accompany you on your journey: Endivie, Floink or Karnimani.

Together with your partner Pokémon, you can explore the streets of this huge city or visit wild sectors - habitats where you will encounter wild Pokémon. If you want to catch one, you have to aim precisely and then throw a Pokéball at it, or take it on with the help of the Pokémon in your team.

New, dynamic battles
For the first time ever, Trainers and their Pokémon will run together and interact in real time during a battle. Pokémon perform their attacks as soon as their trainers ask them to.

In addition to type differences, there will be new battle conditions to consider. For example, the timing when changing your Pokémon or the different duration until an attack goes off and the size of the area of effect of an attack.

Mega Evolution is back!
In Illumina City, Pokémon with Mega Evolution can go beyond ordinary evolution! When a Trainer's Keystone reacts to the Mega Stone of one of their Pokémon, the Pokémon won't just change shape and size - it will unleash unimagined powers that can turn the tide of battle!
