Note:
If you are using your M.2 SSD drive for the first time, please reformat it before use. Follow these instructions: My Computer--Disk Management--Reformat the drive.
This SSD enclosure does not support PCIe NVMe / AHCI M.2 SSDs such as Samsung 970 EVO Plus, WD Black SN750.
Some SSD drives are available in M.2 SATA, mSATA, and SATA versions, such as the Samsung 860 EVO. Before purchasing, check to see if your drive is an M.2 NGFF SSD.
